Senator Smith enjoys sending birthday cards to constituents celebrating 80 or more years and anniversary cards to couples celebrating 50 years together. In addition, the senator can arrange for you to receive a White House greeting card. Oregonians seeking nominations to the U.S. Air Force, Merchant Marine, Military and Naval Academies should submit applications to Senator Smith no later than November 15 to be considered for an appointment the following summer.
